Embracing Travel at Any Age
Age should never be a barrier to exploration, and I firmly believe that if you have the desire to see the world, you need to embrace a sense of urgency. Life can change in an instant, and waiting too long to travel means you might miss out on some of the most beautiful and exciting parts of the world. That’s why I recommend planning your big adventures at least 12 to 18 months in advance. This gives you time to curate the perfect trip and ensure everything is well-organized and personalized to your preferences.
For seniors, I always advise tackling more challenging trips first. Be mindful of age restrictions for certain activities, but remember that there’s something for everyone. Small group travel is a great option because it creates an intimate environment where you can meet new people and form lasting friendships.
E-bikes have become my “great equalizer.” They make cycling adventures accessible to everyone, regardless of fitness level, and they allow you to explore destinations without feeling exhausted.
Finally, I always recommend working with a travel agent. They can help simplify the planning process and ensure everything runs smoothly so you can enjoy the experience to the fullest.
