The Art of Travel Coaching

The Art of Travel Coaching

As a travel planner, I absolutely love coaching my clients. It’s not just about booking flights and hotels—I get to guide and support them every step of the way. When it comes to packing, I find real joy in helping travelers pack smart and light. I share my tips for choosing versatile clothes that work for different occasions so they’re well-prepared without lugging around unnecessary luggage.

I’m always here to answer any questions and address concerns. Whether it’s about travel details, fun activities, or just need some reassurance, I want my clients to feel like they have a reliable friend in me. And when it comes to the nitty-gritty details, I’ve got it covered. Booking flights, arranging accommodations, managing payments, and sorting out visas – I take care of it all. My goal is to make sure my clients can focus on the thrill of their upcoming adventure without any stress or worries.

Ultimately, I want to empower my clients to dive headfirst into the excitement of their trip. With my guidance, support, and meticulous planning, I aim to create an environment where the journey begins long before the departure date, filled with anticipation and a sense of adventure.

Paula Hiuser: A Journey into the Travel Industry

Paula Hiuser: A Journey into the Travel Industry

Paula Hiuser, the founder of Epic Global Adventures, has always been passionate about travel. Her journey into the travel industry is a testament to her love for exploration and her commitment to sustainable tourism.

Paula’s interest in travel was sparked at a young age, flipping through National Geographic magazines. She pursued her passion academically, studying sustainable tourism development in university. However, the path to her dream was not straightforward. After graduating during a recession, Paula found herself in corporate America.

Her perspective on travel changed after a transformative experience in Rwanda. She joined a small group to trek the Virunga Range and encounter the mountain gorillas. This experience highlighted the power of sustainable tourism in conservation efforts and inspired Paula to start her own agency, Epic Global Adventures.

Discovering the Charms of Germany and Austria

Discovering the Charms of Germany and Austria

Are you someone who loves to travel and explore new places? If so, you’re in the right place! My name is Ilse Haag, and I specialize in crafting small group and independent travel itineraries to destinations all around the world. However, my personal favorites will always be Germany and Austria. Growing up as a first-generation American with German parents, I spent my summers in these beautiful countries, and to me, traveling there feels like coming home.

In my opinion, the best way to truly experience a new culture is through its food. When traveling to Europe, my advice is simple: don’t eat like you do at home – eat everything! European food is not only delicious but also free from harmful additives and toxic substances. You can indulge in pasta, bread, wine, and a cannoli in one sitting and still feel amazing. So, leave your dietary concerns behind and savor every bite.

Another important tip for international travel is to pack lightly. You don’t need a multitude of clothing options while on your journey. Plan out your outfits for various situations and be open to reusing pieces of clothing. This way, you’ll be well-prepared without carrying unnecessary baggage.

Redefining Tourism

Redefining Tourism

Tourism has the potential to be a force for good, and at Epic Global Adventures, we strive to harness this power. Our approach to travel is rooted in authenticity, intimacy, and sustainability. We curate small group adventures, limited to just 16 people, to ensure a personalized and immersive experience.

Our adventures span across various destinations, each carefully selected to offer unique experiences. We work closely with local guides and drivers, who provide invaluable insights into local customs and hidden gems. We prioritize family-owned hotels, lodges, and restaurants, supporting local businesses and contributing to the local economy.

Group Tours
In addition to our group adventures, we also design tailor-made private adventures for couples, families, or friends. These bespoke trips are crafted around the individual interests of our clients, taking them to destinations like the Galapagos, Machu Picchu, and across Europe.

Our commitment to sustainability and ethical practices is unwavering. We partner with operators who share our values, ensuring zero tolerance for exploitation and a focus on supporting local businesses, national parks, and anti-poaching initiatives.
